MEAM 1010 Introduction to Mechanical Design is a hands-on, project-based course that covers the fundamentals of the modern mechanical design process.
Overview
I was provided with a small wind-up toy, which I had to take apart and remodel. I dissembled the toy, measuring and designing each part on SolidWorks. This assignemnet focused on reassembling a compact gearbox system, highlighting gear meshing and part symmetry.
